During the build up to their 50th Leavers’ Reunion, several members of the Class of 1969s have taken this opportunity to do something memorable for College and have launched the SAC Staff Children’s Education Fund.
One of College’s great advantages is the quality of its staff, and the purpose of the Fund is to enhance the school’s attractiveness to teachers who choose to dedicate themselves to College by helping to cover a range of College expenses such as academic materials, sports equipment, extramural activities and tours for deserving sons selected by the Headmaster.
The Fund has been seeded by the 1969ers this year and future 50th Leavers’ Reunion groups are encouraged to continue this tradition. All donations will be invested so that future annual distributions will be derived from income from those investments.
The Fund will be structured and supervised by OAs and a group of College’s administrative leaders under the Headmaster’s guidance.
